Terms and Conditions for AttoLife’s Online Quiz Competition – The Verdict

1. Organiser

This competition ("The Verdict") is organised by AttoLife, part of The Atto Group, a provider of toxicology and DNA testing services.

2. Eligibility

The competition is open exclusively to solicitors and barristers working in child or family law firms, local authorities, or chambers.

Entrants must register with their first and last name, organisation, work email address, and phone number.

Only one entry per individual is permitted.

3. How to Enter

Registration must be completed before 9:00 AM on Friday, January 31st, 2025.

The quiz will be available between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM on Thursday, January 30th, 2025. A link to the quiz will be emailed to registered participants.

Participants must submit their answers via the ProProfs platform within this time window. Late entries will not be scored.

4. How the Verdict Works

Winners will be determined based on the number of correct answers.

In the event of a tie, the time taken to complete the quiz will be used as a tiebreaker, with the faster completion time ranked higher.

An independent, internal panel established by AttoLife will verify the results and make the final determination.

Winners will be announced by the close of business on Friday, January 31st, 2025.

5. Prizes

First Place:

A £750 donation to a charity of the winner’s choice will be facilitated by AttoLife.

Second Place:

A £150 donation to a charity of the runner-up’s choice will be facilitated by AttoLife.

6. General Conditions

Participants must complete the quiz independently and in good faith. AttoLife reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraudulent activity.

AttoLife reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

Winners will be contacted using the email address provided during registration. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, AttoLife reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible participant.

The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Liability

AttoLife shall not be held responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to disruptions to the ProProfs platform, internet connectivity, or email delivery, that may prevent participation in the competition.

8. Data Protection

By entering the competition, participants agree to the processing of their personal data in accordance with AttoLife’s Privacy Policy. Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and fulfilling prize obligations.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
